The goal of the Termez State University campus is to process organic waste in order to ensure environmental sustainability and reduce waste.
Systematic work is being carried out on the territory of the university to reduce, reuse and encourage reuse of organic waste. A single-stream recycling system has been introduced at the university, which has created the opportunity to process and effectively use all types of organic waste. Currently, 97.93% of organic waste is fully recycled at TerSU.

The following media work is being carried out at Termez State University on the recycling of organic waste. In particular: ecological videos, articles, social advertisements have been prepared through the mass media on television, radio, newspapers and internet. Ecology lessons, practical seminars have been organized at universities, “Compost Preparation Day”, “Waste Separation Competition”, “Biogas Use Training”, etc.
