Termez State University is advancing sustainable transport through its 2025 Zero Emission Mobility Programme. The university currently operates 189 zero-emission vehicles, including electric cars, scooters, bicycles and utility vehicles. Supporting infrastructure includes six EV parking areas, six bicycle parking zones, six electric scooter parking areas and two charging stations. From 2022 to 2025, the number of zero-emission vehicles increased from 58 to 189, representing 162% growth. These initiatives are estimated to reduce 26.4 tons of CO₂ and save 11,250 litres of fuel annually, while also lowering campus noise. Car-Free Days are held every Tuesday and Friday from 07:00 to 19:00. Through these measures, TerSU promotes cleaner mobility, healthier lifestyles, improved accessibility and a greener, low-carbon campus for its university community.
