As part of its commitment to sustainable campus development, Termez State University has developed the Smart Sustainable Parking Management Map, an integrated digital navigation and parking management tool designed to support efficient land use, improve campus accessibility, and promote environmentally responsible mobility.
The map provides a comprehensive overview of the University's parking infrastructure and sustainable transportation facilities. It identifies the locations of staff parking areas, visitor parking areas, electric vehicle (EV) parking spaces, accessible parking for persons with disabilities, bicycle parking facilities, covered parking areas, pedestrian routes, bicycle routes, campus entrances and exits, security checkpoints, public bus stops, route taxi stops, and Car-Free Day zones. In addition, the map highlights green areas and major academic buildings, allowing users to navigate the campus more efficiently while encouraging sustainable travel choices.
The Smart Sustainable Parking Management Map has been developed to serve a wide range of campus users, including students, academic staff, administrative personnel, visitors, contractors, and external stakeholders. By providing clear information on parking locations and sustainable mobility infrastructure, the map helps reduce unnecessary vehicle circulation within the campus, improves traffic organization, enhances pedestrian safety, and supports convenient access to university facilities.

The parking management system is fully integrated with the University's Sustainable Parking Management Policy, Green Mobility Program, Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Policy, and Car-Free Day initiative. Through this integrated approach, TerSU prioritizes walking, cycling, public transportation, electric mobility, and efficient parking management while minimizing land allocated to private vehicles and preserving green campus spaces.
The map also functions as an important planning and monitoring tool for the Department of Facilities and Campus Infrastructure, supporting regular inspections, parking occupancy assessments, infrastructure planning, and annual sustainability reporting. Information displayed on the map is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect improvements in campus infrastructure, newly designated parking areas, bicycle facilities, EV infrastructure, and changes in campus mobility management.

To ensure transparency and provide easy public access, the Smart Sustainable Parking Management Map is published through the University's official Green Campus and Sustainability Portal, where students, employees, visitors, and external stakeholders can freely access the latest version together with related sustainability policies, parking management documents, dashboards, annual monitoring reports, and other Green Campus initiatives.
